West View Ridge is a 55+ gated retirement community in Polk County, Florida located near Haines City, Fl. It provides a small town atmosphere with only a short trip to large cities for their amenities. We are approximately 30 miles from Orlando's major attractions as well as about an hour from either the Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf of Mexico beaches.
West View Ridge is a resident owned park (yes, you own your lot) administered by our own POA Board with many recreational and social activities that provide a quality, active lifestyle for the residents. Facilities include a mini golf course, pickle ball court, horseshoe pit, boccie ball court, and shuffle board, billiard/fitness equipment available, as well as a nice sized (Heated) pool.
The recreation hall is large enough to accommodate meals for over 200 people with a large kitchen and serving area. Activities in the hall are bingo, card bingo, music, dances, line dance classes, crafts etc. as well as a well-stocked library.
